As long as you enable a text recognition service, this item will enjoy a free quota of 1,000 invocations per month, provided in the form of a resource package and placed in your Tencent Cloud account, deducted first during billing and settlement. After the free quota is exhausted, OCR offers a pay-as-you-go billing mode.
Using the Character Recognition Service
You can choose the appropriate usage method based on the introduction of the following three methods:
Try product features with Tencent Cloud OCR Demo. If you are not a developer and have no coding background, you can use this method to experience the character recognition service. This method can only be used for experience, not development, and only one image can be recognized at a time.
Make OCR API calls with API 3.0 Explorer.
If you are a beginner developer who has a basic understanding of HTTP requests and API calls, use this method to try OCR services.
This method allows you to make API calls, verify signatures, generate SDK codes, and access APIs. Call the OCR API by writing code.
If you are a developer familiar with code writing, you can call the OCR API using the development toolkit (SDK) provided by Tencent Cloud. The SDK supports multiple languages, including Python, Java, PHP, Go, NodeJS, and .NET. You can download the corresponding SDK from the documentation of each service or through SDK Center.
