Note:
TDSQL for MySQL is currently only applicable to OLTP business scenarios, such as transaction systems and frontend systems. It is not applicable to OLAP-based systems such as ERP and BI.

Large-scale Applications (Ultra-high Concurrent Real-time Transaction Scenario)

E-commerce, finance, O2O, social applications, retail, and SaaS service providers generally have problems such as a large user base (millions or more), frequent marketing activities, and increasingly slow response of core transaction system databases, which restrict business development.
TDSQL for MySQL features linear horizontal scalability that can increase the processing power of databases in real time for improved access efficiency. It can sustain over 15 million QPS at the peak, enabling you to cope with high-concurrency real-time transaction scenarios. For example, WeChat Pay, Tenpay, and Tencent Top-up are all supported by databases using the TDSQL for MySQL architecture.

IoT Data (PB-level Data Storage and Access Scenario)

In IoT scenarios, such as industrial monitoring and remote control, extension of smart cities, smart homes, and Internet of Vehicles, there are many sensor monitoring devices, high sampling rates, and large data volumes. Usually, data stored for one year can reach PB or even EB level, but traditional solutions based on x86 server architecture and open source databases are simply unable to store and use such a large amount of data.
TDSQL for MySQL features horizontal scalability, and the TDStore engine also supports an ultra-high compression ratio for storage, effectively helping users store massive data at low costs.

File Indexing (Millisecond-level Access to Trillions of Rows of Data)

As a cloud service platform, there are often large amounts of images, documents, and video data, with data volumes ranging from millions to trillions. The service platform usually needs to store the indexes of these files in the database and provide real-time operations such as addition, modification, reading, and deletion at the index level.
Since the service platform handles access from other customers, the requirements for service quality and performance are very high. Traditional databases cannot support such a large-scale access and usage, while TDSQL for MySQL, with ultra-high performance and scalability as well as strong synchronization capabilities, can effectively guarantee the service quality and data consistency of the platform.

High Cost-effective Commercial Database Solutions

Large enterprises, banks, and other industries rely heavily on minicomputers and high-end storage to support large-scale data storage and high-concurrency database access. However, Internet companies can obtain the same or even higher capabilities as commercial databases with low-cost x86 servers and open-source software.
TDSQL for MySQL is suitable for various scenarios such as national or provincial business system aggregation, large enterprise e-commerce and channel platforms, Internet banking services, and transaction systems.
