Billing method
Note:
Tencent Cloud Face Selfie Verification offers both prepaid and postpaid billing methods. You can flexibly choose a billing method based on your business scenarios.
All billing and transaction times under your Tencent Cloud account are based on Beijing Time (UTC +08:00).

Postpaid | Daily settlement based on usage (default) | Postpaid is the default billing method for the selfie verification service. It charges based on the number of API calls generated from your usage. Fees incurred from 00:00 to 23:59:59 of the previous day are settled daily, and a billing statement is issued. (The statement is generated between 08:00 and 12:00 on the same day.) |
Prepaid | | The billing amount of the selfie verification product is deducted by purchasing a resource bundle. All resource bundles are valid for one year (expired bundles become invalid). If a purchased prepaid selfie verification resource bundle is not used, a full refund without reason is supported within 7 days (inclusive) from the date the purchase order is successfully delivered. For details, see Refund Instructions. |
Resource Bundle Usage Instructions
When the free resource bundle expires or is exhausted, purchase a formal plan. Otherwise, the postpaid mode is enabled by default.
A prepaid resource bundle is valid for one year from the date of purchase and delivery. If the bundle's quota is not fully consumed within the year, it expires and becomes invalid. After a prepaid resource bundle is used, the remaining quota cannot be frozen. If the bundle is not used after purchase, a no-reason refund is supported within 7 days.
For resource bundles that qualify for a no-reason refund within 7 days, you can click Refund in the operation column on the right side of the resource bundle list to self-refund. For resource bundles that do not support self-refund, you can submit a ticket to request a refund.
Usage is billed in the following order: "free resource bundle -> prepaid resource bundle -> postpaid". If you have not purchased a prepaid resource bundle, the billing automatically switches to the postpaid mode. If you have purchased a prepaid resource bundle, the billing automatically switches to deduct from that bundle. When the prepaid resource bundle is exhausted, the billing switches to the postpaid mode for monthly settlement. If you have purchased multiple paid resource bundles, deductions are made in the order of purchase time, with the earliest purchased bundle deducted first.
Regarding resource bundle deductions: Usage after 00:00 on the day of purchase and delivery can be deducted by the resource bundle purchased and delivered on that day. For example, usage after 00:00 on February 14, 2021 can be deducted by the resource bundle you purchased at 14:30 on February 14, 2021. Resource bundles cannot be used to deduct usage that has already been generated.
Settlement Method
Tencent Cloud Face Selfie Verification offers two billing methods: postpaid and prepaid. The postpaid method settles daily based on usage (default), while the prepaid method settles by purchasing resource bundles. For other billing methods, contact us.
