TDMQ for Apache Pulsar provides a comprehensive observability system, including monitoring, alarms, and Prometheus monitoring. It helps customers quickly identify, locate, and resolve issues to ensure stable business operation.
Monitoring Capabilities
By default, TDMQ for Apache Pulsar provides resource monitoring and alarm capabilities based on the Tencent Cloud Observability Platform (TCOP) service. TDMQ for Apache Pulsar supports real-time monitoring of resources created under your account, such as clusters, namespaces, and topics. These monitoring metrics help you understand cluster information such as resource usage, number of connections, and message backlogs, assisting you in determining the cluster capacity usage level and identifying risks in advance.
The following table describes the scope of monitoring capabilities supported by TDMQ for Apache Pulsar.
|
Basic monitoring | Basic monitoring allows you to view monitoring metrics such as clusters, namespaces, and topics. | It is suitable for cluster-level metric observation, meeting the requirements of Ops scenarios, such as assisting in identifying issues and planning cluster capacity. |
Prometheus monitoring | The integration of the self-built Prometheus monitoring service enables unified data collection, storage, and visualization, achieving more automated online Ops. | It provides an open-source compatible monitoring integration solution, supporting integration with self-built Ops platforms. |
Alarm Capabilities
TDMQ for Apache Pulsar provides alarm capabilities of cloud products based on TCOP. You can configure alarm rules for monitoring metrics on TCOP. If a monitoring metric reaches the configured alarm threshold, you will be notified through emails, SMS, WeChat, or phone calls. You can take preventive or remedial actions in a timely manner.
