This document will help you quickly get started with using DSGC.

Step 1: Purchase a DSGC instance and complete role authorization

1. Before using DSGC, you need to purchase a DSGC instance according to your requirements. For details, please refer to Purchase Methods.
2. After a successful purchase, you can log in to the DSGC Control Panel and complete the authorization of service roles following the instructions on the page. For a detailed explanation of authorization, please refer to Service Role Authorization.

Step 2: Add data assets

Add a data source and authorize it, so that DSGC can access and manage the related data assets.
1. Log in to the DSGC Console.
2. In the left action bar, click Asset Management > Data Source Management.
3. On the Data Source Management page, you can synchronize your cloud-based data resources and manage data source authorizations. Additionally, DSGC can also add its own databases.


Step 3: Bind Assets

1. On the Data Source Management page, select an authorized asset, and click the operation column's Authorization Scope Management.
2. On the Authorization Scope Management page, all DB or indexes under the data source will be displayed. You need to select the DB or index to be scanned for binding.

Step 4: Execute Identification Task

After binding the asset, you can set the task parameters on the Classification and Grading****Classification and Grading Task page to create and execute the Classification and GradingTask.
After the task scan is successful, you can view the Assessment Task on the Classification and Grading****Sensitive Data Assets page.


Step 5: Risk Identification

After the Classification and Grading Task is completed, you can identify relevant risks for the classified and graded data.
On the Risk Assessment > Assessment Task page, you can create an Assessment Task. Once the risk assessment task is successfully executed, the system will provide an overview of the identified risks, including risk level descriptions and countermeasures.

With the above steps, you can quickly start using DSGC to effectively manage and protect your enterprise's data security.
