Tencent Cloud WeData product editions and resources are billed on a monthly subscription basis. Please renew timely before the edition or resources expire to ensure features and related tasks operate normally.
Important Notes
The product features will be locked and unavailable after version expiration.
Upon expiration of a certain resource package within resource group, the part of resources that have expired will be terminated by default, while the unexpired part will be refunded by default.
The entire resource group will be frozen and unavailable. Ensure timely resource renewal to guarantee proper task running.
Message Alert
After specifying the message recipient and reception method through Message Subscription Management, you will receive the following alert information.
Alarm Type | Description |
Expiration Warning | Expiration alerts will be sent within 7 days before the resource pack within resource group expires. The alerts will notify the creator of Tencent Cloud account, global resource collaborator, and financial collaborator via email and SMS. |
Overdue Payment Reminder | Overdue payment alerts will be sent on and after the expiration date of the resource pack within resource group. The alerts will notify the creator of Tencent Cloud account and all collaborators via email and SMS. |
Renewal Method
Tencent Cloud offers two renewal options, auto-renewal and non-auto-renewal, which can be configured when purchasing resources:
Auto-renewal
The system will perform a daily check on user account balance 7 days before resource package expiration to renew resources with auto-renewal set.
If the account balance is sufficient, the system will automatically renew the resources on their expiration date.
If the account balance is insufficient, the system will send a notification to the Tencent Cloud account creator and all collaborators, informing them of the insufficient balance and recommending manual recharge.
Non-automatic renewal
The system will send users an expiration reminder notification within 7 days before resource expiration. If the user does not renew on the day of expiration, the system will notify users that the resource has expired.
Reclamation and Mechanism

If the product edition is not renewed before it expires (including the day of expiration), the system will lock the edition features after expiration, and you will not be able to use the related features.

Isolation:
If the resource package is not renewed before or on the expiration day, the system will perform isolation operation after expiration.
Destruction and release:
If the resource package is not renewed within 7 days (including the 7th day) upon expiry, WeData will auto cleanup and terminate corresponding execution resources on the 7th day after expiration. After destruction, data will be erased and unrecoverable.
