Skills (also known as "skills") can extend the professional capabilities of agent applications. For example, Skills such as document translation, Image Analysis, and TTS can expand an agent's functional boundaries, enabling it to handle specialized tasks in more practical scenarios. In the Skills Marketplace, you can browse and install platform-provided built-in Skills, or import custom Skills packages to meet personalized needs. Additionally, you can submit your own published, high-quality custom Skills for enterprise sharing. Once approved, these become enterprise-shared Skills, available for reuse by members across all spaces within your enterprise, allowing the team's valuable expertise to circulate efficiently within the organization.

Three Categories of Skills

The Skills Marketplace provides three categories of skills to meet usage requirements in different scenarios. Within the Skills Marketplace, these three skill categories are displayed on three separate tabs: Built-in Skills, Enterprise-shared Skills, and Custom Skills.
Category
Description
Built-in Skills
Pre-configured skills, including native Skills from the Tencent Cloud Agent Development Platform and Skills from Tencent's ecosystem such as, Tencent Docs, Tencent IMA, QQ Browser, and Tencent LearnShare. They cover multiple domains including general office work, image processing, design and development, healthcare, and audio/video processing, and are ready to use out of the box. All built-in Skills have undergone platform security review and quality verification and are available to members across all spaces under the current enterprise.
Enterprise-shared Skills
A member within the enterprise submits their published custom Skill for enterprise-wide sharing approval. Once approved, it is upgraded to an enterprise-shared Skill, becoming available to all members across all spaces under the current enterprise, facilitating the accumulation and reuse of valuable Skills within the organization. For specific steps to submit for enterprise-wide sharing approval, see Create Skills.
Custom Skills
Personalized skills created by users within the current space are visible and usable only within that space. All custom Skills undergo platform security review upon import and can be published for use only after the review is passed. A published custom Skill also serves as a source for enterprise-shared Skills. Its editor can initiate an enterprise-wide sharing approval to propagate it across the entire enterprise.
Note:
The relationships among the three types of Skills are detailed as follows:
Built-in Skills are provided uniformly by the platform and the Tencent ecosystem, and are ready to use out of the box.
Custom Skills are imported by members themselves and are only visible within the space where they are imported.
A Custom Skill can be submitted by its editor for enterprise sharing approval. Once approved, it is upgraded to an Enterprise-shared Skill and becomes accessible to all spaces within the enterprise.
In short, Custom Skills are the source of Enterprise-shared Skills. Only a Custom Skill that has been successfully published can have its enterprise sharing initiated by its editor.

Skills API Keys

The native Skills on the Tencent Cloud Agent Development Platform use the plugin APIs from the ADP platform. Before making calls, you must first obtain an API key. The method to obtain it is as follows:
1. Access the Agent Development Platform and log in using your root account.
2. Click the avatar in the upper-right corner, then choose Enterprise Management > Key Management > Create Key in sequence.

Security Review Mechanism

The platform provides security review safeguards for all Skills.
Built-in Skills: They are published after official security checks and quality verification, so users can use them with confidence.
Custom Skills: After import, a security review process is automatically triggered, which includes format validation and security scanning. They can be used normally only after the review passes.
Enterprise-shared Skills: They are upgraded from published Custom Skills through enterprise sharing approval. Security checks are not triggered again, and the security report that passed when the Skill was published as a Custom Skill is reused. Enterprise administrators can view the complete security report in the Approval Center before deciding whether to approve it, ensuring that the Skills shared within the enterprise are trustworthy and reliable.
