Does TDSQL Boundless Support Public Network/External Network Access?
For security and performance reasons, TDSQL Boundless instances currently only support access from within a VPC.
Can My CVM and TDSQL Boundless in Different Regions (such as CVM in Guangzhou and TDSQL Boundless in Shanghai) Access Each Other via the Private Network?
Direct access via the private network is not supported. You can try connecting through CCN. Can My CVM and TDSQL Boundless in Different AZs Within the Same Region (such as CVM in Shanghai Zone 2 and TDSQL Boundless in Shanghai Zone 3) Connect via the Private Network?
A CVM and a TDSQL Boundless instance may be located in the same region but not necessarily in the same VPC. They could also be in different VPCs.
If resources are in different AZs within the same VPC, you can use private network interconnection.
If they are not in the same VPC (for example, the CVM is in VPC1 and the database is in VPC2), direct private network interconnection is not possible. You can change the network of the TDSQL Boundless instance to match that of the CVM.
Can CVM and TDSQL Boundless Under Different Accounts Connect via the Private Network?
Direct connection via the private network is not supported. However, you can use CCN to establish private network connections across accounts. How to Connect to a TDSQL Boundless Database Using Lighthouse
Lighthouse uses a VPC automatically assigned by Tencent Cloud for network isolation. By default, its private network is not interconnected with other Tencent Cloud resources within the VPC, such as cloud databases. To achieve interconnection, you need to associate a CCN. See Lighthouse Private Network Connectivity and Private Network Interconnection.
