Arrears Handling

In pay-as-you-go mode, the billing period is "daily". The billing system measures your service usage from the previous calendar day and issues a bill on the next calendar day. The service fee is then deducted from your account based on the bill amount.
Starting from the moment when your account balance becomes negative, the cluster can continue to use and billing continues for 24 hours. After 24 hours, Message Queue MQTT will stop serving, unable to send/receive messages, and the console and TencentCloud API cannot be used normally, while resource usage fees continue to generate.
After the service stops, the system performs the following actions on Message Queue MQTT:
Time after Service Suspension
Description
7 days or less
If the account is topped up and the balance exceeds 0, the billing will resume, and the user can restart MQTT.
If the account balance is not topped up to exceed 0, MQTT cannot be restarted.
Greater than 7 days
If your account balance is not topped up to exceed 0, the pay-as-you-go MQTT resources will be terminated, all data will be cleaned up and cannot be retrieved. When MQTT resources are terminated, we will notify the creator of Tencent Cloud account and all collaborators via email and SMS.
