Scenarios

The MQTT protocol is based on the Pub/Sub model. Topics are normally used to centrally categorize and manage various types of system production messages. Clients can subscribe to one or more Topics to receive messages related to these topics. Clients can also publish messages to a Topic so that other clients subscribed to it can receive these messages. According to the standard MQTT protocol, Topics support multi-level structure and have dynamic characteristics, with levels separated by "/".

Feature Overview

TDMQ for MQTT supports auto-creation of Topics. Users can send and receive messages without pre-creating related Topics. Meanwhile, to help customers manage Topics, TDMQ for MQTT supports viewing monitoring metrics for specified Topic aggregations. For example, when a user uses Topic "AAA" in message sending and receiving, it maintains a first-level Topic aggregation, and this Topic becomes a prefix. On this basis, users can view monitoring data for all related sub-Topics under this prefix, such as "AAA/1", "AAA/2", "AAA/BBB/CCC". In this way, users can monitor the business status under each Topic aggregation in real time and promptly track key business indicators.
Note:
For the first-level Topics previously created by users, these Topics will automatically become Topic prefixes and support viewing monitoring data for all sub-Topics under these prefixes.
To facilitate the management and monitoring of key Topics, you can configure a certain number of "Topic prefixes", supporting up to three levels. For example, after the prefix "a/b" is configured, data statistics for Topics such as "a/b/1", "a/b/2", ..., "a/b/n" can be viewed. For details, see View Monitoring Data.
