Overdue Payment Description
If your Tencent Cloud account has an overdue payment, Tencent Cloud notifies you of the overdue payment status via SMS, email, and other means. A 24-hour grace period is reserved for your account. If your account balance is not topped up to a positive value after 24 hours, Tencent Cloud stops your Global Accelerator 2.0 (GA2.0) service.
Overdue Payment Status
GA2.0 uses the postpaid pay-as-you-go billing mode. The system generates a bill and deducts fees based on your actual usage in the previous billing cycle. If your account balance is insufficient, the balance is deducted to a negative value and your account enters an overdue payment status.
Attention:
If your account enters an overdue payment status due to your purchase or use of other Tencent Cloud services, your use of the GA2.0 service is affected.
Overdue Payment Alarm
If your account balance is deducted to a negative value, the account enters an overdue payment status and the system pushes an overdue payment notification. The overdue payment notification is triggered once only when the account balance changes from a positive value to a negative one.
Recycling Mechanism
If your account balance is sufficient, you can use the GA2.0 service normally and fees are deducted based on your actual usage.
After your account enters an overdue payment status, a 24-hour grace period is reserved for your account. If your account balance is not topped up to a positive value after 24 hours, the system stops your GA2.0 service. The instance status is changed to Isolated, but the instance configuration is retained.
For a GA2.0 instance, after being isolated, its related configuration information is retained for 7 days. If the account balance is not topped up to a positive value within 7 days, the instance is released. After the instance is released, its related configuration and other data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
Overdue Balance Rectification
During the overdue payment period, you can re-enable the GA2.0 service in the console as long as you top up your account to cover the overdue amount.
