【October 20, 2021】Classic CLB End-of-Sale Notice

Tencent Cloud will end the sale of Classic CLBs from October 20, 2021 (Beijing time). All Classic CLB features are included in the new Cloud Load Balancer (former Application Load Balancer). For a secure environment and better experience, please upgrade your existing classic CLBs ASAP.
End of Sale Time
All Classic CLB instances will be retired from October 20, 2021.
End of Sale Affect
Users can not purchase new classic CLBs from October 20, 2021. The usage of existing Classic CLBs are not affected.
Affect of Upgrading to New CLB
For a secure environment and better experience, please upgrade your existing classic CLBs ASAP. See Instance Types to learn about their differences.
The upgrade will not affect the continuity of your business.
The instance configuration will be changed after upgrade. For more details on configuring the new Load Balancer instances, see Getting Started with CLB.
After upgrade, Classic CLB APIs are not applicable. You need to use Cloud Load Balancer APIs instead.
How to Upgrade
1. Log in to the CLB Console, and click Instance Management on the left sidebar.
2. On the Instance Management page, select a region in the top right corner, and click the Classic Cloud Load Balancer tab.
3. Find the instance to upgrade in the CLB instance list, and then select More > Upgrade under the Operation column.
Note:
The updated feature is in beta now. To use it, you can submit an application.
4. Click Submit in the Upgrading to CLB dialog box.
