2. See the table below to configure default specifications.

Parameter Name
Parameter Description
Billing Mode
Select Pay as You Go. For billing details, see Billing Overview.
Region
Select a region for the instance. You can select the nearest region to reduce access latency.
Once an instance is created successfully, the region cannot be changed. Please select the region with caution.
Please select a region the same as that of Cloud Virtual Machine (CVM) instances. Otherwise, communication through a private network cannot be achieved.
Specification Type
Select a specification type for the database instance.
General: a long-term stable database service deployed on servers with high performance and sufficient bandwidth, with resources isolated and allocated to different instances. It offers a managed MongoDB service featuring high performance, high reliability, and easy management.
Cloud Disk: a database service with a cloud-native architecture and based on various cloud services such as CVM and Cloud Block Storage (CBS). It fully integrates the capabilities of Tencent Cloud's underlying cloud services. It supports quick adjustment of computing specifications and provides quick backup and rollback through cloud disk snapshots, which can facilitate product usage.
Database Version
Select the latest database version.
General Edition (10GE High-I/O Edition): 7.0, 6.0, 5.0, 4.4, 4.2, and 4.0.
