Overview
This document guides you on how to manage the AI Workbench capability. The enabling and disabling of this capability is achieved by controlling a core service role, CM_QCSLinkedRoleInTcopAI. This role is the necessary permission credential for TCOP AI Workbench to access other Tencent Cloud data sources, such as monitoring data and log data.
Note:
The service role CM_QCSLinkedRoleInTcopAI is a capability provided by Tencent Cloud CAM (Cloud Access Management). Tencent Cloud CAM primarily helps customers securely manage access permissions for resources under their Tencent Cloud accounts. Through CAM, you can create, manage, and terminate users (or groups), and control who can use which Tencent Cloud resources via identity management and policy management. For details, see Role Overview. Must-Knows
Account Permissions: The operations of creating and deleting roles are typically performed by the primary account or a sub-account with full read/write permissions for CAM.
Impact Scope: Deleting the role will globally disable the TCOP AI feature for all sub-accounts.
Re-enabling: If you need to use it again after disabling, simply re-authorize by following the guidance provided by the system within the AI Workbench. No additional operations are required.
Capability Status Description
Enabled State: When the service role CM_QCSLinkedRoleInTcopAI exists, the AI Workbench has data access permissions, and all AI features can be used normally.
Disabled State: The service role CM_QCSLinkedRoleInTcopAI is deleted, the AI Workbench permissions are blocked, data cannot be obtained, and all AI features will be unavailable.
Operation Steps
Enabling TCOP AI Capability (First-Time Use or Re-Enabling After Disabling)
When you first access the TCOP AI Workbench or when the role has been deleted, the system automatically detects this and guides you through the authorization process. The process is as follows:
1. Go to the TCOP AI Workbench. Log in to TCOP and go to the AI Explore page. 2. Trigger Authorization Guidance: The system will automatically pop up an authorization request window, prompting you that you need to grant permissions to the CM_QCSLinkedRoleInTcopAI role to use the AI Workbench features.
3. Complete Authorization: Click Agree to Authorize in the window, and the system will automatically create the service role under your account.
4. Enabled Successfully: After authorization is completed, the page is automatically refreshed, and you can then normally use all AI features of TCOP.
Disabling TCOP AI Capability
If you need to completely disable the TCOP AI feature, simply delete its dependent service role.
1. Go to the Role Management Page: Log in to the Tencent Cloud console and go to the CAM > Roles page. 2. Search for and Select the Role: In the role list, use the search box to enter CM_QCSLinkedRoleInTcopAI and locate the role.
3. Delete the Role: Click Delete on the right.
4. Confirm Deletion: In the pop-up confirmation window, carefully read the prompt. After confirming that it is correct, click OK, and the role will be removed immediately.
5. Disabled Successfully: After the role is deleted, the TCOP AI capability is disabled. When you access the AI Workbench again, all AI features will be unavailable due to insufficient permissions, and the authorization guidance described in Enabling TCOP AI Capability will be triggered again.
Operation Verification
Verify Successful Enablement: In the AI Workbench, you can normally use features such as AI Explore and digital clones without encountering permission-related errors.
Verify Successful Disablement: When the AI Workbench is accessed, a permission request prompt will appear, and you will be unable to obtain analysis results.
