This Auto-Renewal Agreement ("Auto-Renewal Agreement") supplements and forms part of the Tencent Cloud Terms of Service ("Terms of Service") and governs the auto-renewal functionality for Services provided through Tencent Cloud's international portal. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Service. BY ENABLING AUTO-RENEWAL FOR ANY SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AUTO-RENEWAL AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY TO DISABLE THIS FEATURE, AT WHICH POINT WE SHALL TERMINATE THE AUTO-RENEWAL PAYMENT OPTION FOR YOUR ACCOUNT.
1. AUTO-RENEWAL SERVICE DESCRIPTION
1.1 Definition
Auto-renewal means that upon expiration of your Service term or depletion of resources, if your Account has sufficient available balance, the system will automatically deduct fees for the next renewal period or resource package from your Account.
1.2 Scope
This Auto-Renewal Agreement applies to all Services that support auto-renewal functionality as indicated in the Service purchase or management interface.
2.ENABLING AUTO-RENEWAL
You may enable auto-renewal through the following methods (subject to availability for specific Services):
Selecting the "Auto-Renewal" option during initial Service purchase.
Configuring auto-renewal in your Service-specific console where available.
Auto-renewal is NOT enabled by default. You must actively and explicitly opt-in to enable auto-renewal for each Service. Your affirmative action to enable auto-renewal constitutes your express consent to:
be bound by the terms of this Auto-Renewal Agreement.
Automatic payment is processed for each renewal cycle.
The renewal terms and pricing disclosed at the time of enabling.
The notification and cancellation procedures described herein.
3.RENEWAL TERMS AND PRICING
3.1 Renewal Cycle
Unless you modify the renewal period, Services will auto-renew for the same duration as the current term. The “current term” means your currently active Service term without including any renewal period. For instance, if the current term of the Service available to you is from 1 March 2025 to 31 May 2025, which lasts for three months, then the renewal period will also last for three months (i.e., from 1 June 2026 to 31 August 2026), if you do not modify the renewal period to another duration. You may modify the renewal period at any time before the next renewal occurs through the Renewal Management interface. Pricing
Current Pricing: The renewal price will be the then-current price for the Service at the time of renewal (including any applicable taxes), which may differ from your original purchase price.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust Service prices or introduce new Fees. If we modify the price of a Service with auto-renewal enabled, we will notify you through appropriate channels (including but not limited to console notifications, email, SMS, telephone notification, APP notification) at least thirty (30) days in advance. If you do not disable auto-renewal before the Service expiration, renewal will occur at the adjusted price. If you are located in the jurisdictions covered under Clause 9 (Regional Compliance Provisions) of this Auto-Renewal Agreement, the terms of that section shall apply. Promotional Pricing: Introductory or promotional pricing may not apply to renewal period unless explicitly offered to you.
4. PAYMENT AND BILLING

We will attempt to process auto-renewal on or before your Service expiration date. The exact renewal time may vary but we guarantee renewal will be completed on the expiration date if sufficient balance is available.
4.3 Insufficient Balance
If your account lacks sufficient available balance:
You will receive a notification of failed Auto-renewal notification through appropriate channels (including but not limited to console notifications, email, SMS, telephone notification, APP notification).
Your Service may be restricted, suspended or terminated according to the Terms of Service. You may incur post-paid charges if you continue using the Service (where applicable).
4.4 Successful Renewal
Upon successful auto-renewal:
Payment will be recorded in your Account payment history.
Your Service term will be extended or resources replenished accordingly.
You will receive a confirmation notification.
5. NOTIFICATIONS
5.1 Pre-Renewal Notifications
We will send renewal reminders before auto-renewal:
If your current term is one month or shorter: reminders will be sent seven (7) days, three (3) days, and one (1) day before your Service expiration date.
If your current term is longer than one month: reminders will be sent thirty (30) days, seven (7) days, three (3) days, and one (1) day before your Service expiration date.
All reminders will be sent through one (1) or the combination of the following channels:
Console notifications
Email (sent to your registered email address)
SMS (if you have opted in to SMS notifications)
Telephone notification
APP notification

6. CANCELLATION OF AUTO-RENEWAL
6.1 Cancellation Methods
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through:
Your service-specific console (where available).
Pre-renewal notifications.
6.2 Cancellation Time
Cancellation of auto-renewal takes effect immediately upon confirmation in the system.
There may be a brief delay before the auto-renewal status update (whether you choose to cancel or renew) is reflected across all systems. The status displayed in your Service interface is always the authoritative source.
Attention:
Important: If you cancel within 24 hours of the expiration date, a renewal process may already be underway. Any charges processed before your cancellation is complete are non-refundable and will be charged at the then-current price, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6.3 Effect of Cancellation
Cancelling auto-renewal does not affect your current subscription term.
Your Service access will continue uninterrupted until the current term expires.
Upon expiration, the Service will discontinue automatically unless you manually renewed.
7. SERVICE MODIFICATIONS AND DISCONTINUATION
7.1 Auto-renewal Service Changes
We may modify or discontinue auto-renewal functionality at any time, with advance notice provided through appropriate channels.
7.2 Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to discontinue auto-renewal services in your jurisdiction or for specific Services based on operational requirements, providing reasonable advance notice through appropriate channels (including but not limited to console notifications, email, SMS, telephone notification, APP notification).
8. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for:
Maintaining sufficient Account balance for auto-renewals, otherwise,Section 4.3 hereof will apply. Keeping your contact information up to date to receive notifications.
Monitoring your Services’ status and renewal dates.
Reviewing and understanding all renewal terms and pricing.
Managing your auto-renewal settings according to your preferences.
9.REGIONAL COMPLIANCE PROVISIONS
9.1 Applicability
This Agreement operates in conjunction with applicable laws. Additional protections and rights may apply based on your location as specified in your registration information, and your statutory rights under applicable mandatory local laws remain unaffected.
9.2 European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland:
You may exercise withdrawal rights within fourteen (14) days of renewal subject to a pro-rata calculation for services already performed.
Cancellation requests may be submitted through standard support channels in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Notifications sent to you will be written in your local language (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch) if you are located in relevant jurisdictions.
For some long-term Service, pre-renewal notifications may be sent every six (6) months after your subscription of the Service.
If your Service is provided in Germany, the renewal will only apply to Service with an initial term being no more than twenty-four (24) months and thereafter you may cancel your subscription at any time by giving (1) one months notice using the cancellation button on your Service interface and subsequent confirmation button provided by us.
9.3 United States
If you are located in the United States, the method for canceling auto-renewal will align with the subscription method you use.
The cancellation method for your renewal will mirror the subscription method you used. For example, if you subscribed the auto-renewal through online channels (such as, through this website or email), you can cancel it via the same online channels. You do not need to use other methods like phone calls or mail to complete the cancellation. We are committed to offering a cancellation process that is as convenient as the subscription process.
An annual reminder used for the original transaction or regular communication may be sent after your subscription of the Service, disclosing the product or service to which the auto-renewal applies, the frequency and amount of charges, and how to cancel the renewal.
Your affirmative consent on the renewal will be kept on our records for a minimum of three (3) years or one (1) year following contract termination, whichever is longer, pursuant to the applicable laws, and your affirmative action to enable auto-renewal shall also constitute your express consent to the foregoing record-keeping requirement.
In the case of a material change in the terms of the renewal, including any fee change, you may be notified at least seven (7) days and no more than thirty (30) days before the new fee takes effect, along with information regarding how to cancel in a manner that is capable of being retained by you.
