A user or user group can be associated with one or multiple policies to finish the authorization. The authorized policy can either be a preset policy or a custom policy.
You can select a user on the policy page or select a policy on the user page for authorization.

Associating a Policy with a User/User Group

Associating a Preset Policy with a User

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page.

  2. Click "Policy Management". The policy management method is set to "All Policies" as default. Click the "Preset Policy“. Select the desired user and click "Bind User/Group".

  3. Select the user to be associated, and click "OK".

Associating a Preset Policy with a User Group

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page.

  2. Click "Policy Management". The policy management method is set to "All Policies" as default. Click the "Preset Policy“. Select the desired user and click "Bind User/Group".

  3. Click "Switch to User Group", and select "User Group" in the drop-down box.

  4. Select the user group to be associated, and click "OK".

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page.

  2. Click "Policy Management". The policy management method is set to "All Policies" as default. Click the "Custom Policy“. Select the desired user and click "Bind User/Group".

  3. Select the user to be associated, and click "OK".

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page.

  3. Click "Bind User/Group". Select the desired user or user group, and click "Remove User/Group" or "Remove User" or "Remove Group".

  4. In the pop-up prompt box, click "OK" or "Confirm removal".

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page.

  2. Click "Policy Management". The policy management method is set to "All Policy" as default. Click the "Custom Policy“ and click the policy name.

  3. Click "Bind User/Group". Select the desired user or user group, and click "Remove User/Group" or "Remove User" or "Remove Group".

  4. In the pop-up prompt box, click "OK" or "Confirm removal".

  2. Click "Associate Policy".

  3. Click "Policy Type", and click "Preset Policy" in the drop-down box.

  4. Select the desired preset policy and click "OK".

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page, and click "User Management" to select the desired user.

  2. Click "Associate Policy".

  3. Click "Policy Type", and click "Custom Policy" in the drop-down box.

  4. Select the desired custom policy and click "OK".

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page, and click "User Group Management" to select the desired user group.

  2. Click "Associate Policy".

  3. Click "Policy Type", and click "Preset Policy" in the drop-down box.

  4. Select the desired preset policy and click "OK".

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page, and click "User Group Management" to select the desired user group.

  2. Click "Associate Policy".

  3. Click "Policy Type", and click "Custom Policy" in the drop-down box.

  4. Select the desired custom policy and click "OK".

  1. Log in to Tencent Cloud Console, go to the Cloud Access Management page, and click "User Management" to select the desired user.

  2. Select the desired policy, and click "Disassociate".

  3. In the pop-up prompt box, select "Confirm removal".
