Tencent Cloud ES currently provides multiple Elasticsearch versions for users to choose from and continuously follows new community versions. All cloud-based kernel versions maintain 100% compatibility with community versions, while some versions offer Tencent Cloud's unique enhanced features, providing users with stronger performance, richer capabilities, and higher stability. For details about enhanced features and supported versions, refer to Tencent Cloud ES Kernel Version Release Notes.
Tencent Cloud ES provides Elasticsearch versions based on standalone code branches independently maintained and managed by the Tencent Cloud ES team. To ensure business stability, follow the version lifecycle planning in this document for your upgrade schedule and perform timely upgrades to supported versions.

ES Version Lifecycle Planning

The Tencent Cloud ES version lifecycle includes the following stages:
GA: Generally Available, which means it is in normal commercial sales.
EOM: End of Marketing, which means stop selling. After the EOM date, the version will no longer be sold, providing only necessary fixes and updates.
EOS: End of Service & Support, which means service suspension. After the EOS date, the service for this version will be stopped, and no technical support will be provided for the version.
Tencent Cloud ES currently provides the following versions. Versions not listed in the following table will be deemed as EOS versions.
