Tencent Cloud Account
A Tencent Cloud account serves as a unified identity for users to access product pages on Tencent Cloud. This account exclusively grants access to Tencent Cloud services and cannot be used for other Tencent offerings. The Tencent Cloud account is the primary entity for ownership of your Tencent Cloud resources and billing for resource usage. You can only purchase and use cloud products if you have a registered Tencent Cloud account that has completed bank card binding or credit authorization.
You need to enter the Account Center to manage your account, including identity verificationnd, modifying account information, canceling your account, and more. Purpose of Tencent Cloud Account
Identity Verification: To verify the legitimacy of your access to and use of Tencent Cloud services.
Resource Isolation: All cloud resources you create are billed to your Tencent Cloud account and are inherently isolated from other accounts.
Billing Entity: The account is responsible for billing resource usage.
Resource Access and Control: By logging into the console with an account and calling APIs to create, manage, and destroy cloud resources.
Differences between the International Site and the China Site
Tencent Cloud has two sites, namely Tencent Cloud International and Tencent Cloud China.
Tencent Cloud International accounts are suitable for individuals, organizations, enterprises outside the Chinese mainland, and overseas branches of Chinese enterprises. The difference between enterprise and individual authentication can be found in Identity Verification Overview. Tencent Cloud China site accounts are applicable to enterprise users in the Chinese mainland (excluding Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), and Taiwan (China) regions), and individual users in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), and Taiwan (China).
Note:
Account resources between the International site and China site are completely isolated and cannot be transferred or merged.
