Tencent Cloud Billing Center supports storing bills to COS, and then importing bills from COS to CLS for analysis. The Cloud Product Cost Analysis Center enables quick access to daily details of cloud service consumption bills, allowing multi-dimensional analysis of cloud service consumption details using CLS.
Note:
Consumption bill - daily details: The system generates the bill file for the previous day daily. The bill data is incomplete, excluding bills for daily pay-as-you-go and postpaid monthly settlement products.
Features
Out-of-the-box cost analysis dashboard for cloud products.
Support cost insight for TKE clusters.
Operation Steps
Cloud Product Cost Dashboard Analysis
Connecting Cloud Service Basic Bill Data
2. In the left navigation bar, select Cloud Insight to enter the Cloud Insight page.
3. In Cloud Product Log, select and click Cloud Product Cost Analysis.
4. In Cloud Product Cost Analysis, select Collection Management > Basic Bill Data, and click Import Now.
5. Select the COS bucket for bill storage (if already configured on the bill side, the corresponding COS bucket will be automatically selected), then click Next.
Note:
The system imports the previous day's bill daily. For initial configuration, you need to wait until the next day to see the bill data.
6. Create/select a CLS log topic, import bill data, click OK, and complete the bill import.

Viewing Cloud Product Cost Analysis Dashboard
In Cloud Product Cost Analysis, select Dashboard > Cloud Product Cost Analysis Dashboard to view and analyze the cost situation of cloud products.
TKE Cluster Cost Insight Analysis
Prerequisites
Integrating TKE Cost Insight Required Metrics
2. In the left navigation bar, select Cloud Insight to enter the Cloud Insight page.
3. In Cloud Product Log, select and click Cloud Product Cost Analysis.
4. In Cloud Product Cost Analysis, select Access Management > TKE Cost Insight Data.
5. Select the TKE Cluster region, locate the target collection cluster in the cluster list, and check whether the collection component has enabled metric collection. If not enabled, click to enable it.
6. After enabling metric collection for the collection component, select the target cluster and click Enable Collection.
7. Enter the collection configuration page. TKE Cost Insight metrics are selected by default. Select or create a metric topic to store metrics, then click Confirm to complete the configuration.
Viewing TKE Cost Insight Dashboard
Note:
The dashboard currently supports cost analysis for native nodes and regular nodes, but not super nodes.
The dashboard currently covers CPU and memory cost, not currently involved other types of cost.
In Cloud Product Cost Analysis, select Dashboard > TKE Cost Insight Dashboard to view TKE cluster cost conditions. The dashboard description is as follows:
Top control:
No. | Object | Note: |
1 | TKE cluster dropdown select box | Switch selection between clusters to view cluster cost situation |
2 | CPU cost weight | TKE Cost Insight estimates Pod cost by weighting CPU metrics and memory metrics. The sum of CPU and memory weights is 1. For example, if the CPU cost weight is configured as 0.6, the memory weight is 1 - 0.6 = 0.4. The default CPU cost weight is 0.5, which can be manually changed, ranging between 0 and 1. |
3 | Time selector | Modify the time range for statistics |
Dashboard content - Cost performance:
No. | Object | Note: |
1 | Resource cost distribution | Cluster cost statistics on different node types |
2 | Cluster cost resource trend | Daily statistics of cluster resource usage trend and cost trend |
3 | Namespace Request Cost Distribution | Request Cost Distribution by Namespace in the Cluster (excluding idle resources) |
4 | Request Cost Distribution | Request and Idle Resource Cost Distribution in the Cluster |
Dashboard content - Resource usage:
No. | Object | Note: |
1 | Cluster CPU/Memory Specifications | Total CPU Cores/Memory Capacity of the Cluster |
2 | Cluster CPU/Memory real-time request amount | CPU cores/memory capacity assigned to the current cluster |
3 | Cluster CPU/Memory real-time/peak/average utilization rate | CPU cores/memory capacity used in the cluster during the selected time range as a percentage of the total amount |
4 | Cluster CPU/Memory Packing Rate Trend | CPU cores/memory capacity assigned within the cluster during the selected time range as a percentage of the total amount |
5 | Cluster CPU/Memory Usage Trend | CPU cores/memory capacity used in the cluster during the selected time range as a percentage of the total amount trend |
