What Is Tencent Cloud CBS?

CBS (Cloud Block Storage) is a highly available, highly reliable, low-cost, and customizable block storage device that can be used as an independently scalable hard disk for Cloud Virtual Machine (CVM), providing efficient and reliable storage capabilities for CVM instances.
CBS provides block-level persistent storage capabilities, typically used as the primary storage device for data that requires frequent updates and fine-grained updates (such as file systems, databases, and so on), featuring high availability, high reliability, and high performance.
CBS employs a distributed mechanism with triple replication to back up your data on different physical machines, avoiding issues such as data loss caused by single point of failure, thereby enhancing data reliability.

CDC Environment's Cloud Block Storage (CBS) Has the Following Characteristics

The creation entry is the CDC independent entry and must be created within CDC clusters. For details, see Creating CBS.
Exclusive cluster scale billing requires pre-purchasing CBS clusters. Subsequently creating CBS instances incurs no charge (only instance fees are waived; snapshots and other additional services are still charged according to public cloud billing standards. For details, see Snapshot Billing Overview).
Regions and AZs are displayed as the access-controlled AZs, while resources are actually allocated on the corresponding product service clusters within CDC clusters.
CBS types only support CBS cloud services that are purchased and deployed within the current cluster.
