Quantity

A tag consists of 1 tag key and 1 tag value (tagKey:tagValue).
Each resource can have 50 tags at most.
For each resource, each tag key can have only 1 value. If you bind a new tag value to the same tag key of the same resource, the original tag value will be overwritten instead of retaining two tag values simultaneously.
Tag keys cannot be created separately, they must be created simultaneously with tag values (the one-time creation cap for relevant APIs is 10).
Under one primary account, the total number of tag key-value pairs is limited to 1 million.

Tag keys starting with qcs: , project ,项目are reserved for Tencent Cloud use. Do not use the prefixes when you create a tag key.

Length
In UTF-8, a tag key must be 1 to 127 Unicode characters.
In UTF-8, a tag value must be 1 to 255 Unicode characters.
Character
In UTF-8, the limits are as follows:
Supports Chinese and English characters. If it is an English character, it is case-sensitive.
Supports multiple characters with spaces in the middle, but does not support spaces at the beginning or end.
Supports digits 0–9.
Supports specific special characters:
In English: + - = . _ : / @ ( ) [ ] , ; > <.
In Chinese: + - = / @ （ ） 【 】 ：.
