GCD supports self-service configuration of access control policies, including blacklists/whitelists for referer, IP, UA (in trial) and IP access frequency limits, which help effectively resist hotlinking, malicious users and CC attacks.
The expiration policy of the origin server file cache can be customized based on actual business conditions to improve the cache hit rate and reduce origin-pull bandwidth consumption. Further, GCD supports multi-level cache route configuration, so the intermediate server can be activated as needed to converge origin-pull and relieve pressure on the source server.
The origin server can be configured with multiple IPs for polling and origin-pull or with other domain names as the origin server. Master-slave origin servers can be configured for disaster recovery and improved success rate of origin-pull. By default, GCD performs multipart origin-pull and does not follow 302 redirects and supports self-service adjustments based on origin server conditions.
Free certificates can be applied for and certificates from Symantec and GeoTrust can be purchased in Tencent Cloud. After successful application or purchase, the certificates can be deployed to CDN in one click for HTTPS access. Existing certificates can be uploaded to the acceleration node to support forced HTTPS redirects (301/302 modes available), forced HTTP origin-pull and protocol follows and HTTPS origin-pull.
Custom HTTP response/request headers can be added to meet cross-domain and other personalization requirements.
