When you need to access the MySQL-compatible instance of the TDSQL Boundless database, you can connect using standard MySQL client tools. mysql is the command-line client officially provided by MySQL, which needs to be installed separately. TDSQL Boundless, as a new-generation distributed database, provides multi-engine compatibility, among which the MySQL-compatible instance highly supports MySQL protocols and syntax.

Prerequisites

The computer where the client resides has compatible MySQL client software installed. TDSQL Boundless recommends using the 8.0 version client.
The system environment variable PATH contains the installation path of the MySQL client.
Ensure the connectivity from the computer where the client resides to TDSQL Boundless.

Open the corresponding terminal or command prompt window based on your operating system (Windows/Linux/macOS).
