[eKYC] Comprehensive UI Upgrade for H5 Process

Dear Tencent Cloud Customer,
To continuously improve the end-user experience during identity authentication, we have performed an overall UI upgrade for the H5 eKYC process. This upgrade does not involve any API changes. We are now sharing the main optimization details as follows:
1、Full‑process UI Consistency Enhancement
This upgrade unifies the visual and interaction standards across the entire eKYC process, including interface colors, button styles, font hierarchies, page spacing, and prompt copy. The result is smoother page transitions, a more consistent visual style, and reduced cognitive load for end users, which minimizes confusion and lowers abandonment rates.
2、OCR Document Recognition Experience Optimization
(1) Added capture guidance – The document upload page now includes guidance text to clearly inform users of the required photo specifications, effectively reducing blurry, reflective, and problematic images, thereby decreasing recognition failures and repeated upload attempts.
(2) Added recognition waiting animation and status prompts – Loading animations and status messages (clearly indicating "Recognizing") are introduced while results are being processed, alleviating waiting anxiety and preventing mis‑operations or premature exits.
(3) Simplified two‑sided document upload steps – For documents that require both sides, we have optimized the upload interaction and streamlined the steps to improve the completion rate for the two‑sided recognition process.

This OCR upgrade introduces new front‑end copy for capture guidance and status prompts, along with corresponding multilingual copy keys. The system already provides translations for English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, and Thai. If your business requires support for additional languages, please visit the eKYC Console to update the language pack yourself.
This experience upgrade affects only the front‑end UI and interaction; it does not involve backend APIs, verification rules, or billing changes. Existing integration paths and verification results remain fully compatible – you do not need to make any code modifications, and the new UI interaction flow will be applied automatically.
4、Effective Date
This change will take effect 15 calendar days from the date you receive this notification.
