[LLM Service TokenHub] Announcement on the Update of TokenHub Terms of Service

Dear Tencent Cloud User,
To provide you with better product service assurance, Tencent Cloud has updated the TokenHub Terms of Service. The new version adjusts the agreement content based on business development and user experience feedback. The main updates are as follows:

Effective Date

From August 24, 2026 (Monday), Beijing Time.


Update Details

Update 1: Added service acceptance mechanism and arbitration agreement notice

Added a service acceptance clause specifying that users are deemed to accept the terms by using the service; also added an arbitration agreement notice informing users of arbitration arrangements for dispute resolution.

Update 2: Clarified Tencent Cloud’s role as an intermediary for Third-Party AI Model access and related liability boundaries

Added clauses clarifying Tencent Cloud’s positioning as an intermediary for third-party AI model access in the TokenHub service, defining the roles and liability boundaries between Tencent Cloud, model providers, and users.

Update 3: Expanded user rules, including AI output risk disclosures and prohibitions on harmful content

Added AI output risk disclosure clauses to inform users of potential inaccuracies and associated risks in AI-generated content; also added clauses prohibiting the generation of illegal, non-compliant, or harmful content.

Update 4: Introduced auto-renewal mechanism for Monthly Token Plans

Added auto-renewal mechanism clauses for Monthly Token Plans, specifying the trigger conditions, billing methods, and cancellation procedures.

Update 5: Improved service modification and discontinuation notification with email channel

Enhanced the notification mechanism for service modifications and discontinuations by adding email as a notification channel, ensuring users are promptly informed of service changes.

Update 6: Refined pro-rata refund calculation for unused Tokens

Refined the pro-rata refund calculation clauses for unused Tokens, specifying the calculation basis, formula, and applicable scenarios to improve transparency.

Update 7: Expanded intellectual property terms, including no IP grant and open-source component responsibilities

Expanded intellectual property terms to clarify that Tencent Cloud does not grant intellectual property rights for AI-generated content to users; also added clauses regarding open-source component usage responsibilities.

Update 8: Added promotional terms and export control law change provisions

Added promotional activity terms to govern the applicable rules and restrictions for promotions; also added export control law change provisions to address handling mechanisms when export control laws and regulations change.


Effectiveness

The new TokenHub Terms of Service will take effect on August 24, 2026 and will replace the current version. Issues arising on or before August 23, 2026 will be handled under the previous version, and those on or after August24, 2026 under the new version.
