[TDSQL-C for MySQL] Announcement on Disabling Parallel DDL for Low-Version Clusters

Dear Tencent Cloud User,
To ensure the stability of your database services, TDSQL-C for MySQL will implement version control for the parallel DDL feature. As a potential fault risk has been identified in versions below 3.1.16.004, starting from September 3, 2026 (Beijing Time), we will disable the parallel DDL capability for clusters running kernel versions lower than 3.1.16.004.
Scope of Impact
Product: TDSQL-C for MySQL.
Affected Objects: Clusters with a kernel version lower than 3.1.16.004.
Change Details: The parallel DDL capability will be disabled.
Recommended Action
If your business requires the use of the parallel DDL capability, we recommend upgrading your cluster's kernel version to 3.1.16.004 or above to obtain full feature support and enhanced stability. For upgrade instructions, please refer to Upgrade Kernel Minor Version.
