[TencentDB for SQL Server] Announcement on the Optimization of the Monitoring System

Dear Tencent Cloud user,
To further enhance product monitoring performance and optimize the monitoring system architecture, Tencent Cloud will carry out an upgrade and optimization of the monitoring system (monitoring metrics collection framework) for TencentDB for SQL Server. The relevant details are announced as follows:
Optimization Benefits
After the optimization, performance metrics collection will be more accurate in the new monitoring system architecture.
Release Schedule and Execution Method
Release start time: 09:00, September 17, 2026 (Beijing Time).
Release end time: 23:59, September 30, 2026 (Beijing Time).
Execution method: During the release period, the system will perform the upgrade and switchover between the old and new monitoring systems within the instance maintenance window.
Impact Statement
During the switchover between the old and new monitoring systems, there may be fluctuations in individual monitoring metrics.
The above impact affects only the display of monitoring data and will not affect the normal business operations of instances or database services.

If you encounter any issues during the release period, you can submit feedback via the Tencent Cloud Ticket System.
We recommend that you monitor the accuracy of your monitoring data after the optimization is completed.
