[TDSQL-C for MySQL] Announcement on Upgrade of CDC Subscription Service

Dear Tencent Cloud user,
To deliver a more stable and higher-quality binlog subscription service, Tencent Cloud plans to optimize and upgrade the CDC subscription service for TDSQL-C for MySQL. Details are as follows:
Regions and Upgrade Time (Beijing Time)
October 10, 2026, 16:30 – 20:00: Virginia Zone 1, Virginia Zone 2, Hong Kong Zone 2, Hong Kong Zone 3, Tokyo Zone 1, Tokyo Zone 2, Singapore Zone 2, Singapore Zone 3, Singapore Zone 4, Beijing Zone 5, Beijing Zone 7, Beijing Zone 8, Guangzhou Zone 3, Guangzhou Zone 4, Guangzhou Zone 6, Guangzhou Zone 7, Frankfurt Zone 1, Frankfurt Zone 2.
Impact Description
For binlog subscription services enabled on RO nodes of TDSQL-C for MySQL, a transient disconnection of less than 5 seconds will occur.
For binlog subscription services enabled on RW nodes of TDSQL-C for MySQL, if a significant replication delay exists, a transient disconnection of less than 5 seconds will occur.
Impact on Subscription Components
TencentDB DTS: Transient disconnections self-recover without triggering alerts.
Self-built MySQL replicas: Behavior depends on the self-built MySQL service configuration; by default, they will automatically reconnect and self-recover after a transient disconnection.
Other Tencent Cloud subscription products and self-built subscription services (e.g., Flink, Canal): Behavior depends on the respective service configurations; by default, they will automatically reconnect and self-recover.
