Scenarios

When you create a Cloud Native Gateway instance, parameters in the instance, such as nginx_http_client_header_buffer_size and nginx_http_client_max_body_size, are configured with default values. If your business has specific requirements, you can modify the corresponding parameters in the TSF console to optimize gateway performance.

Prerequisites

Operation Steps

1. Log in to the TSF console.
2. In the left sidebar, choose Cloud Native Gateway > Instance List, click the ID of the target instance, and go to the basic information page of the gateway instance.
3. On the Basic Information page, select Parameter Configuration to go to the Parameter Configuration page. All system parameters that can be modified are displayed in JSON format on the left, and the parameter description list is displayed on the right. You can search by parameter name to view the default values and optional values supported by the parameter.
4. Click Modify Parameters in the upper-left corner, edit the JSON content, and modify the parameter values as needed. Click Save. A kong reload operation will be performed on the instance to complete the parameter modification, which takes effect immediately.
Attention:
System parameter values are all strings. When you modify them, you must include English double quotation marks ("").
Initial parameter values of an instance are displayed by default. If the initial parameter values are not specified for the instance, null is displayed.
To modify the Access Log format, go to Data Observation > Default Log > Edit Log Rule in the console. For more information, see View Default Log.
Modifying parameters triggers a reload operation, which may cause long-lived connections to be interrupted. Proceed with caution.
