Preinstalled component extensions
Preinstalled with mainstream Node.js package managers such as pnpm, bun, and yarn, covering dependencies for popular Agent projects.
Preinstalled with java-21-openjdk-devel (KonaJDK 21.0.11), ffmpeg/ffmpeg-devel 7.0.2, and redis 7.2.7 to meet the runtime requirements of multimodal, cache, and JVM-based Agents.
Preinstalled with ungoogled-chromium 146 as the system browser for browser automation scenarios such as Puppeteer.
Runtime upgrade
Upgrade rustc to the latest stable version to support dependencies in the new Rust ecosystem.
Install and upgrade golang to 1.25.8 to support Agents and toolchains written in Go.
Image source optimization
The default bun registry is switched to Tencent Cloud at https://mirrors.tencentyun.com/npm/.
The default yarn registry is switched to Tencent Cloud at https://mirrors.tencentyun.com/npm.
The default uv registry is switched to Tencent Cloud at http://mirrors.tencentyun.com/pypi/simple.
Agent capability enhancements
TencentOS MCP Server is preinstalled and provides 22 Ops diagnostic tools covering system, performance, network, kernel, eBPF, security, and remote host management, ready to use out of the box.
Upgrade the preinstalled AiCrasher MCP Server (/home/agentuser/.codebuddy/skills/AiCrasher) to the latest version to enhance kernel Crash/vmcore analysis capabilities.
Skill updates
Upgrade the tencentos-expert Skill (TencentOS Server full-stack Ops diagnostic expert) to the latest version for more complete Ops troubleshooting paths and knowledge base coverage.
Added a CodeBuddy SLI global constraint rule: customer Ops issues must prioritize calling the tencentos-expert Skill, and kernel Crash/vmcore analysis must prioritize calling the crash-expert Skill, preventing the model from improvising and causing troubleshooting path deviations.
Puppeteer configuration optimization
Explicitly set puppeteer_skip_download=true and puppeteer_executable_path=/usr/bin/ungoogled-chromium to directly reuse the preinstalled ungoogled-chromium, reducing image size and first startup time.

Added a login prompt: for your system security, run the su agentuser command to use the system under the dedicated agent user.
Runtime update
Python 3.12 is preinstalled. To explicitly invoke it, use python3.12 xxx.py. The existing Python 3.11 remains the default version for compatibility.
Preinstall the python-sat dependency library.
Replace the preinstalled docker-ce with moby 28.4.
