To provide you with a better experience using Tencent Cloud CBS, we support both a 5-day self-service refund and a standard self-service refund if you are not satisfied with your yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS (that is, data disk) purchase.
By default, each account is entitled to a 5-day no-questions-asked refund for 1 yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS. The valid payment amount will be refunded to the payer's Tencent Cloud account.
By default, each account is entitled to a standard self-service refund for 199 yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS. After the fees you have incurred are deducted, the remaining amount will be refunded to the payer's Tencent Cloud account based on the proportion of cash and free credit used for the purchase.
Refund Procedure
Data disk to be mounted: Locate the yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS you want to refund, and choose More > Terminate/Refund.
Mounted data disk:
Locate the yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS you want to refund, and choose More > Unmount.
After unmounting, choose More > Terminate/Refund.
Refund Targets
Only yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS are supported for refund.
Refunds for certain promotional resources are not currently supported. For details, refer to the official website.
Five-Day Unconditional Self-Service Refund
If you are not satisfied with your yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS purchase, we support a 5-day no-questions-asked self-service refund. The refund policy is as follows:
Refund Restrictions
For a single Tencent Cloud account, a 5-day no-questions-asked refund is supported for 1 yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS within five days (including the fifth day) from the date of purchase.
Note:
Discounts or vouchers are non-refundable.
The refund amount will be refunded in full via the original payment method to the payer's Tencent Cloud account.
Refund Rules
For orders that comply with the 5-day no-questions-asked refund policy, the refund amount is the total amount spent at the time of purchase, including cash account balance, revenue transfer account balance, and gift account balance.
Refund Policy Supplement
In case of suspected abnormal or malicious returns, Tencent Cloud reserves the right to reject your return request.
Standard Self-Service Refund
For return orders that do not meet the 5-day no-questions-asked self-service refund policy, the refund policy is as follows:

Refund Rules
For a standard self-service refund, the fees you have used will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded via the original payment method to the payer's Tencent Cloud account, proportionally based on the cash and free credit used for the purchase.
Refund Amount = Current Effective Order Amount + Effective Amount of Unstarted Orders - Value of Resources Used.
Current effective order amount: It refers to the payment amount of orders in effect, excluding discounts and promo vouchers.
Unstarted order amount: Refers to the payment amount of orders that will take effect in the future, excluding vouchers.
The value of resources used is calculated according to the following policy:
On the day a refund is requested, if the CBS has been used for a full month, the value of the used CBS is deducted based on the full-month rate. If the usage is less than a full month, the deduction is calculated using the pay-as-you-go rate.
The usage duration is precise down to the second.
When the refund amount <= 0, resources are calculated based on 0 and reclaimed.
Refund Policy Supplement
After a self-service refund for a yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS, no further charges related to that instance will be incurred once its status changes to terminating or terminated.
After a self-service refund for a yearly/monthly subscription elastic CBS, it will be moved to the CBS Recycle Bin, where it will be retained for 7 days. During this period, you can renew it in the CBS Recycle Bin to restore it. If your CBS is not renewed for restoration within 7 * 24 hours after it enters the recycle bin, the system will begin to release its resources, and the data on that CBS will be cleared and irrecoverable.
