Overview

TDSQL-C for MySQL is Tencent Cloud's self-developed new-generation cloud-native relational database. It combines the advantages of traditional databases, cloud computing, and new hardware technology to provide users with a highly elastic, high-performance, massive storage, secure and reliable database service. TDSQL-C for MySQL is 100% compatible with MySQL 5.7 and 8.0. It achieves over a million QPS throughput, up to petabyte-level smart storage, ensuring data security and reliability.

All TDSQL-C MySQL Edition APIs introduced in this chapter comply with the latest OpenAPI 3.0 specification.
You can call APIs to perform operations on TDSQL-C MySQL Edition, such as purchasing a new cluster, querying the cluster list, and modifying maintenance time settings.
For information on all APIs supported by TDSQL-C MySQL, please see API overview.

Glossary

See the table below for common TDSQL-C MySQL API terminology:

Usage Limits

For API parameter limits, refer to the parameter description in each API document.

Getting Started with APIs

You can use the API Explorer tool to call APIs online.
Take modifying the maintenance time configuration as an example to introduce the steps for calling an API through the API Explorer tool:

  1. Go to the API Explorer tool page. For more information about API Explorer tool usage, see Using API Explorer.
  2. Call ModifyMaintainPeriodConfig to modify the instance maintenance time configuration.
  3. After the modification is successful, when the instance is undergoing configuration changes or other operations that may impact it, the system will switch during the configured instance maintenance time.
