Cursor is an AI-native code editor deeply customized from VSCode, with built-in models like GPT-4/Claude. It supports natural language generation, code understanding, cross-file code refactoring, intelligent debugging, and autonomous agent (Agent) capabilities. This article explains how to configure and use Tencent Cloud Large Language Model Token Plan in Cursor.
Prerequisites
Before starting the configuration, make sure you have completed the following preparatory work:
Install Cursor
Note:
Due to the limitation of Cursor, only users who have subscribed to the Cursor Pro and above version plan support customizing the model configuration.
Configure Token Plan
After Cursor is installed, in Cursor, click on the top-right corner Cursor Settings, select the Models module and configure it. The specific configuration of the Models module is as follows:
OpenAI API Key: Enter the dedicated API Key for the Token Plan.
Override OpenAI Base URL:https://tokenhub-intl.tencentcloudmaas.com/plan/v3.
Add Custom Model: Enter the Model ID supported by the Token Plan. Use Cursor
After configuration is complete, you can then select the configured model in the chat panel to interact.
