Managing a Traffic Mirror

    After a traffic mirror is created, you can enable, disable, modify or delete it or add a tag on the Console.

    Enabling or Disabling the Traffic Mirror

    A new traffic mirror task is enabled by default. To disable it and then enable it again, follow the steps below.

    1. Open the link in response to your [ticket submitted] (https://console.cloud.tencent.com/workorder/category) and log in to Traffic Mirror Console. In the top Region selector, choose the region where the traffic mirror is created.
    2. Locate the traffic mirror you want to manage, disable or enable it under its Collect Traffic column.

    Modifying the Traffic Mirror

    To modify an existing traffic mirror, do the following:

    1. Open the link in response to your [ticket submitted] (https://console.cloud.tencent.com/workorder/category) and log in to Traffic Mirror Console. In the top Region selector, choose the region where the traffic mirror is created.

    2. Select the Name/ID of a traffic mirror you want to change.

    3. Select the part you want to update and edit it as follows:

      • Editing traffic collection

        1. Click Edit on the top-right of the traffic collection.
        2. In the Modify traffic collection configs pop-up window, modify Collection Range, Collection Type, Traffic filtering or other configurations, and then click OK.
      • Editing receiving IP

        1. Click Edit on the top-right of the receiving IP.
        2. In the Edit receiving IP pop-up window, modify Receiving IP and Balance method, and then click OK.

      Adding a Tag

      Tags are used to identify and organize Tencent Cloud resources. Each tag contains a tag key and a tag value. Adding a tag to the traffic mirror makes it easy to filter and manage traffic mirror resources.

    4. Open the link in response to your [ticket submitted] (https://console.cloud.tencent.com/workorder/category) and log in to Traffic Mirror Console. In the top Region selector, choose the region where the traffic mirror is created.

    5. Locate the traffic mirror you want to add a tag to, and click Edit Tags under its Operation column.

    6. In the pop-up dialog box, do the following:

      1. For Tag key, enter the key name or select one in the drop-down list.
      2. For Tag value, enter the key value.

        A tag may have none or many key values.

      3. (Optional) To create multiple tags, click Add, and configure Tag key and Tag value.
      4. After completing the configuration, click OK.
    7. Search for resources by tag.

      1. Click on the top right of the Traffic mirroring page, and select Tag.

      2. Enter a tag key in the field, and click .

        Separate tag keys with “|”.

    Deleting the Traffic Mirror

    1. Open the link in response to your [ticket submitted] (https://console.cloud.tencent.com/workorder/category) and log in to Traffic Mirror Console. In the top Region selector, choose the region where the traffic mirror is created.
    2. Locate the traffic mirror you want to delete, click Delete under its Operation column, and confirm the deletion.
