Yearly/Monthly Subscription

Pay the fees for one or more months, or even several years, in a single advance payment, real-name authentication of the account is required. This billing mode is suitable for long-term instances with stable computing loads, and the price is lower compared to the pay-as-you-go mode. The billing cycle is a calendar month.
Calendar month:
The billing cycle for February 2016 is: February 1, 00:00:00 – February 29, 23:59:59.
The billing cycle for May 2017 is: May 1, 00:00:00 – May 31, 23:59:59.
Before creating an instance, you can check the available balance in your cloud account. If the balance is insufficient for deduction, top up first before purchase.
For details about insufficient account balance or overdue payments upon expiration, see Overdue Payments.
For details about refunds upon termination of yearly/monthly subscription billing, see Refund for Yearly/Monthly Subscription Billing Mode.
For yearly/monthly subscription renewal, see Renewal.
For the usage and restrictions of Tencent Cloud coupons, see Voucher.

Pay-As-You-Go

Fees are paid based on usage duration, and real-name authentication is required. At the time of purchase, fees for 2 hours will be frozen (vouchers cannot be used for freezing), and the frozen resource fees will be refunded upon termination. Before creating an instance, check the available balance in your cloud account. If the balance is insufficient for deduction, top up first before purchase.
The instance unit price is billed on an hourly basis, while settlement is calculated based on actual usage in seconds, rounded to two decimal places. The billing cycle starts at the time of instance creation and ends at the time when the termination operation is completed.
When a pay-as-you-go instance is purchased, a fee for 2 hours of the current configurations is pre-frozen. Hourly settlement occurs on the hour (Beijing Time), deducting fees based on the actual usage of the cluster in the previous hour. When the configurations of a pay-as-you-go node are adjusted, the previously frozen fee will be released, and a new 2-hour fee is frozen based on the new unit price. When the pay-as-you-go cluster is terminated, the system releases all frozen fees.
For details about overdue payments due to insufficient account balance, see Overdue Payments.
For the usage and restrictions of Tencent Cloud coupons, see Voucher.

Billing Examples

Yearly/Monthly Subscription Billing

Suppose you deploy an EMR Serverless TCBase instance in Guangzhou Zone 7 with the following configuration details:
Configuration Item
Configuration Details
Instance Specifications
Primary/replica mode, instance specifications: 8-core 32 GB
Storage Space
Performance cloud storage, storage space: 100 GiB
Instance usage fee = Instance specification fee + Storage space fee = List price of instance specifications + List price of storage specifications x Storage capacity = 4000.96 USD/month + 1 USD/GiB/month x 100 GiB = 4100.96 USD/month

Pay-As-You-Go Billing

Suppose you deploy an EMR Serverless TCBase instance in Guangzhou Zone 7 with the following configuration details:
Configuration Item
Configuration Details
Instance Specifications
Primary/replica mode, instance specifications: 8-core 32 GB
Storage Space
Performance cloud storage, storage space: 100 GiB
Instance usage fee = Instance specification fee + Storage space fee = List price of instance specifications + List price of storage specifications x Storage capacity = 5.84 USD/hour + 0.0021 USD/GiB/hour x 100 GiB = 6.05 USD/hour

Purchase Method

Log in to the EMR Serverless TCBase console, click New in the instance list, and complete the relevant configurations on the instance purchase page. For detailed operations, see Creating an Instance.
