DNSPod Global underwent an upgrade on November 13, 2020.
After the upgrade, existing DNSPod Global accounts will be integrated into Tencent Cloud International accounts and you will need to bind an international mobile phone number. For details, see Tencent Cloud About Account documentation.

FAQs

Will the upgrade affect existing DNSPod accounts?
Existing DNSPod Global accounts can still be used for login, but you will be required to upgrade your account to a Tencent Cloud account upon first login. During the upgrade process, you must reset your password and bind an international mobile phone number (excluding +86). If you don’t update your account, you may not be able to log in. However, existing DNS service will not be affected.
Will the upgrade affect existing DNS service?
DNS service is what we value the most. Please rest assured that existing DNS service will work properly, no matter whether the upgrade is in progress or completed.
Will the upgrade affect existing APIs?
Existing APIs can still be used. But you may not be able to log in to the console and generate new API tokens if you don’t update your account.
