Recommended Server Configuration for Connector Deployment?
CentOS 7.6 or later, TencentOS 3.1 or later, Ubuntu 20 or later, or Debian 11 or later.
CPU: 2-4 cores, memory: 4-8 GB, disk: 100 GB or more.
Deploy at least two connectors to achieve high availability.
Can Multiple Connectors Be Deployed?
iOA does not limit the number of connectors that can be installed.
How to Update and Uninstall Connectors?
Connector update:
The iOA console supports one-click updates.
Manual server upgrade: On Linux, copy the installation command to perform an overwrite installation. On Windows, run connector_uninstall.exe from the old directory to uninstall the connector first, then download the offline package of the new version and run connector.exe to install it.
How to Troubleshoot Connection Connectivity Issues?
1. Ensure that the connector process runs normally.
2. Ensure that the firewall on the machine where the connector resides has allowed traffic to the iOA gateway address.
3. Ensure that the firewall at the network egress where the connector resides has allowed traffic to the iOA gateway address.
Can Multiple Connectors Be Deployed on One Server?
This is not supported. Only one connector can be deployed on a single server.
Can the Client Be Installed on the Same Terminal as the Connector?
This is not supported. After you log in to the iOA client, traffic will be hijacked, which prevents traffic from being forwarded to the connector properly.
How to Deploy Connectors for High Availability?
1. For the same resource, you can add multiple connections to the same connection group and deploy these connections on different private network machines.
2. Ensure that the connector can access the business resources to be connected to iOA and the iOA cloud gateway.
3. When services are accessed, the iOA cloud gateway automatically selects a connection with the status Connected for the connection.
