Overview
This document describes how to use the single-producer single-consumer and single-producer dual-consumer schemes to switch the services of a self-built RabbitMQ cluster to a TDMQ for RabbitMQ cluster.
Scheme 1. Single-producer single-consumer (recommended)
Prerequisites
You have already purchased a TDMQ for RabbitMQ instance.
You have migrated the metadata of the self-built RabbitMQ cluster to TDMQ for RabbitMQ.
Directions
Pause the producer in the self-built cluster.
Modify the RabbitMQ URL configuration of the producer's connection.
In the RabbitMQ console of the self-built cluster, confirm that its production traffic has stopped.
Change to the producer at the access address of the TDMQ for RabbitMQ cluster in the startup configuration.
Confirm the message production in the TDMQ for RabbitMQ cluster.
Scheme 2. Single-producer dual-consumer
Confirm that the heaped messages in the self-built RabbitMQ cluster are decreasing.
Change to the producer at the access address of the TDMQ for RabbitMQ cluster in the startup configuration.
Start a new consumer to consume messages in the TDMQ for RabbitMQ cluster.
Confirm the message production and consumption in the TDMQ for RabbitMQ cluster and make sure that no messages heap up.
