Scenarios

The MQTT console provides the message query feature. When you need to troubleshoot problems, you can query the details of a specific message by time range, such as message content, message parameters, and the Production IP that sent the message.

Querying Messages

1. Log in to the MQTT console.
2. Click Message Query in the left sidebar, then enter the query condition as prompted on the page after selecting a region.
Cluster: Select the cluster where the topic to be queried is located.
Topic: Select the topic to be queried. Support filling in the Topic Name or the Topic Filter used for subscription.
Start time: Select the starting point to find message, accurate to milliseconds.
Query Count: Show the next x messages of selected events in strict order.
3. Click Query, and the list below will display all queried results in a paginated list.

4. Find the message that has the content or parameters you want to view, and click Details in the Action column to view the basic information, content (message body), detailed parameters, and consumption status of the message.

5. On the details page, click the Message Trace Tab to view the message trace.

Exporting Messages

After finding a message, you can click Export Information in the Action column to export the message ID, subtopic, Qos, time attribute, and other details. Meanwhile, you can select multiple messages in the current page for batch export of multiple messages. Once exported locally, users can choose to perform some operations on the messages, such as copying the message body or sorting by time.
