Operation Scenarios

This document describes how to add or remove single or multiple users to a user group.

Prerequisites

Log in to the CAM console and go to the User Groups Management page.

Steps

Adding users to user groups

Adding users to one user group

  1. On the user groups page, locate the user group to which you want to add users.
  2. Click [add user] in the action column on the right.
  3. In the pop-up add user window, check the user you want to add.
  4. Click "OK" to associate the policy with the user group.

Add users to multiple user groups

  1. On the user groups page, check the user groups to be deleted on the left.
  2. Click [add user] in the upper left corner.
  3. In the pop-up add user window, check the user you want to add.
  4. Click "OK" to associate the policy with the user group.

Delete users from a user group

Delete one user from a user group

  1. On the user groups page, locate the user group for which you want to delete the user.
  2. Click the user group name to enter the user group details page.
  3. On the user group details page, click "users" to enter the user list page.
  4. Find the user you want to delete on the user list page, and click [remove Group] in the action column on the right.
  5. Click Remove User .

Delete multiple users from a user group

  1. On the user groups page, locate the user group for which you want to delete the user.
  2. Click the user group name to enter the user group details page.
  3. On the user group details page, click "users" to enter the user list page.
  4. On the user list page, check the user you want to delete.
  5. Click remove users-> confirm removal to delete multiple users for the user group.
