    TDSQL-C for MySQL and TDSQL for MySQL are two different database products offered by Tencent Cloud. TDSQL-C for MySQL is designed based on cloud-native architecture, integrating the strengths of traditional databases, cloud computing, and cutting-edge hardware technologies. It supports a wide range of advanced features and capabilities to deliver highly elastic and reliable database services, which features high performance and PB-level storage. While TDSQL for MySQL is designed based on a source-replica architecture. It is a distributed database deployed on Tencent Cloud that supports automatic horizontal sharding and adopts a Shared Nothing architecture, where complete logical databases and tables are obtained and evenly distributed across multiple physical shard nodes in the backend. It provides a complete set of solutions for disaster recovery, backup, recovery, monitoring, and migration, making it suitable for scenarios with massive databases.
