Overview

In the CVM console, you can use Create Similar Instances to easily create instances with the right configuration to match with the reservation.

Directions

1. Log in to the CVM console, and click Dedicated Reservation in the left sidebar.
2. Click All Reservations tab on the Dedicated Reservation page.
3. Select the target reservation, and click More > Create Similar Instance under the Operation column, as shown below:
   
4. Confirm the auto-filled information and complete the rest as instructed in CVM Purchase Page.

   Note

   • Auto-filled items include Region, AZ, Instance Type, Instance Specification and Placement Group
   • You can adjust the configurations based on your actual needs.

5. Click Buy Now and complete the payment. You can then check them in the CVM console.
   Information such as the instance name, public IP address, private IP address and login username of the CVM will be sent to your account through the Message Center. You can use this information to log in to and manage your instances.
